I built a 300 sq. ft. garage ADU (accessory dwelling unit) for my son during 2024. It is the sage color part of the house above. Since I did the design, drafting, text summary, permit submission myself, I learned the entire process start to finish working with the city, PGE, and contractor and learned how to meet all the code requirements.
